Freedom Bar's Kinky Kabaret is a weekly basement show. The name isn't code for anything. Performers take the stage to push things, the crowd comes because that's what they want, and the room's built for it.

There's no pretense here. Everyone knows what they're walking into. The energy works because it's a room full of people who are actually here for the same thing. You go for that - the lack of distance between stage and seats, the fact that nothing's sanitized, and the electricity that comes from being in a room where everyone's on the same page.
