Pub Quiz Night

The best pub quizzes in London bring together mixed crews. Someone owns the music round. Someone else somehow knows London street names. Someone dominates history. It runs Tuesday nights, up to six per team, a couple of quid, bar tab prizes. The formula works because it's light enough that newcomers feel they can join in, social enough that you won't need asking to come back next week.

You don't need to be clever on your own. You need people around you who collectively know different things. That's where it gets interesting. By the final questions you've laughed enough times that whether you win or lose barely registers.
