Folk and Roots Presents: Jovana Backovic

Jovana Backovic sings traditional Balkan songs about birds, lost love and missing home, with Sephardic melodies mixed in. She grew up in Belgrade and built her career in the UK, so you hear two cultures in the songs. At £12, it suits anyone who likes folk with real stories behind it. Seats go first come, first served, so arrive early.
