Sunday Roast

The Sunday roast is one of those London rituals that still means something. Hollywood Arms does it right - proper meat, potatoes with real crispness, the full plate. It's casual enough for a quiet afternoon but substantial enough to gather people around.

You'll need to book, especially if you're turning up with a group. It runs from midday, which gives you the whole day to play with. The kind of meal that's as good for warming up a cold winter day as it is for a proper weekend meal with people you actually want to sit with for a while.
