Friday Karaoke

The Hyde Arms in North London has Friday karaoke. You can get up and sing or just watch. A pub does karaoke differently than a dedicated venue, it's part of the evening rather than the whole point. You drift in from 7pm, people take the mic when they feel like it, the room listens and cheers. No audition, no pressure, no fancy setup. Just a pub and songs. Whether you want to try or you just want to be in a room where other people are having a go, it works.
