Poker Night

Five Bells runs a Wednesday poker game that keeps stakes sociable. Five pounds per hand, hundred-pound daily cap, prizes capped at a hundred per game, so nobody's risking the rent. Good for regulars building a weekly routine and newcomers wanting to learn without the sting. Bar food and drinks while you play.

The point is consistency and company over serious gambling. Low enough stakes that a bad run doesn't hurt, high enough that you care about the play. If you like cards and want a standing date with people who do too, it's straightforward.
