About
A full live band performs The Fugees’ classic The Score in full to celebrate its 30th Anniversary. Blending classic doo-wop, soul, RnB and reggae into a contemporary framework, The Score became a pivotal force in the evolution of a new wave of hip-hop and neo-soul. Released in 1996, the album marked a defining moment for the trio of Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean and Pras Michel , who formed in the late 1980s in South Orange, New Jersey. From ‘ Ready or Not ,’ ‘ Zealots ,’ and ‘ Fu-Gee-La ,’ to ‘ Family Business ,’ and ‘ Killing Me Softly With His Song ’, this is a celebration of an album that changed the course of modern music. This event does not feature a performance by The Fugees. This event is not in association with The Fugees.
