Live Music Friday Sessions

The Peacock runs free live music every Friday in its Stepney freehouse. No cover charge, no corporate bar tie-in. The line-up rotates through singer-songwriters and acoustic acts, mostly up-and-coming London names or artists passing through, so you're never quite sure what you'll hear. That unpredictability keeps it fresh.

Get there early to grab a seat before the room fills. Acoustic sets play differently depending on the crowd, and these smaller independent venues are where that dynamic actually matters. You're not paying to enter, so the pressure on both sides feels different.
