Live Music Fridays

The Derby's Friday nights are built for people who want to actually hear the band. Two hours, 9pm start, rotating London talent, the kind of room where the crowd knows the stage is the whole point.

Most venues slot live music between chatter and dancing. Here it's more intentional. Small enough that sight lines aren't a fight, early enough that you're not closing the place down. The musicians shift week to week, drawn from people making something in the city right now.

It's a Friday that doesn't pretend to be a spectacle. Just a venue, some players, people who showed up on purpose.
