Live Music with Matt Owens

Matt Owens plays here every Thursday night, starting at 9:30pm. You'll find a proper cross-section of Brixton regulars and music people, working through the rotating cask and keg beers while the set unfolds.

What sets it apart is the lack of fuss. There's no stage pressure, no velvet ropes. It's the kind of room where you can actually talk and listen at the same time, which sounds simple but most venues bungle it. If you're after live music that sits alongside your night rather than consuming it, this is the spot.
