About
Edinburgh. 2am. Max falls for Eliana, but to marry her he must convert to Orthodox Judaism, despite already being Jewish. Confused? Imagine how he feels.
A hilarious, heartbreaking true story about love, identity and belonging, from one half of comedy double-act Max & Ivan. Adapted from Max's critically acclaimed memoir Making the Cut: An Unorthodox Love Story (Ebury/Penguin), this is your chance to see Max preview the show ahead of a run at the Edinburgh Fringe. Directed by Tom Parry.
The Times describes the duo's work as "A thing of startling precision, imagination and crowd-pleasing charm," while The Guardian notes it's "Big of heart, packed with laughter."
