Nunaoke Karaoke

Nunhead's not the obvious choice for a karaoke night, but that's partly what makes this one worth finding. The Old Nun's Head does rotating DJs on Friday evenings, which means you're getting more than just backing tracks and a booth - there's someone behind the decks shaping the room. It's free to come down, and the queer-friendly atmosphere makes it an easy place to actually sing.

Expect a proper local pub vibe rather than a slick karaoke bar. This is the kind of night that works because no one's pretending to be something they're not - you go, you sing, you enjoy the people around you doing the same. If you're after somewhere that lets you be yourself while having a proper night out, Nunhead's got you sorted.
