Free Standup Comedy Night

Free standup every Wednesday at The Old White Lion in East Finchley, 7:30 to 10. That's the hook - comedy nights without door charges attract people who actually want to hear standup, not people there for cheap wine and venue aesthetics.

It's a neighbourhood gig, same night recurring, which means you see comics testing material on a crowd that knows why they came. The raw stage of jokes - the thinking-out-loud part, before they land elsewhere. No filters, no production, just a room and people trying to make each other laugh.
