Pub Quiz at The Old Fields

Southfields doesn't have a shortage of pubs, but the Tuesday quiz at The Old Fields is a regular fixture worth finding. It's the kind of thing that works best with a loose team: three people who genuinely know sport, one who's seen every film ever made, and someone who's just there to drink and occasionally guess.

Tables are set up from 5pm, so you can eat and settle in before the quiz kicks off at 8. The rounds cover what you'd expect, general knowledge, a bit of pop culture, some history, a music round, and most nights wrap up in about two hours. It's casual enough that losing doesn't sting, but competitive enough that you might actually want to come back and try again.
