Pub Quiz at The Pembury

The Pembury's Monday night quiz in Hackney is one of those things locals actually keep doing. Eight o'clock, free to enter, and it's become a regular fixture. That consistency tells you something, there's no pressure to be flashy, no gimmick, just a quiz that works.

Most weeks you'll see the same faces, which is the whole point. You show up with a team or alone and become part of the room for the evening. Everyone's there for the same reason: a Monday night that's genuinely social and low-stakes. It's the kind of pub habit that doesn't feel forced.
