Saturday DJ Nights at The London Fields

Mattie runs Saturday nights at The London Fields, a Victorian pub with three floors to move through. Mare Street in Hackney gives you the space and the excuse to wander between levels as the night unfolds.

The venue works as a whole: you drink on one floor, dance on another, find a corner to talk on a third. The resident DJ doesn't try too hard, just knows how to build a room. The place has rhythm.

If you want to understand where Hackney goes after dark, this is it. Proper, not precious.
