Live Music

The bands that play the Black Lion on Saturday nights , Pete Bruntnell, Jump the Gun, Ray Lowe and The Jumpstarts , tell you this is deliberately built as a music pub for Saturday evenings. It's not an afterthought bolted on. It's core to how Saturday works here.

You come for live music in a pub setting. That's the whole offer. A pub that puts bands on for Saturday nights, and you come if that's what you want. This is a place that takes it seriously. The kind of Saturday night that works because the idea is simple.
