About
Saturday nights mean live music at The Black Lion. The bill rotates through local acts including Pete Bruntnell, Jump the Gun, and Ray Lowe and The Jumpstarts.
Surbiton sits outside central London's circuit, which changes the room. You get regulars who've been coming for years, a crowd that actually wants to hear the band rather than be seen at a gig.
The kind of place where the music is genuinely the point. Solid musicianship, proper pub setting, none of the London venue theater. Worth the journey out.
