Pub Quiz

Quiz nights draw a certain crowd. The Bricklayers Arms runs them weekly, and they're the kind of thing that works whether you're testing your knowledge against strangers or just out for an excuse to show off what you know. It's social without being forced, competitive without being serious.

Quiz Live runs the show from 7:30pm, and the winning team walks away with a £50 bar tab. It's enough to make people think strategically about their team composition, which is half the fun. The Bricklayers fits this kind of night, a proper pub where people gather around tables and actually talk to each other, not a venue trying too hard to be somewhere else.

Go if you like thinking on your feet and don't mind looking a bit daft when you get something wrong. The best quiz nights are the ones where people genuinely don't know if they're going to win until the final question lands.
