Connolly's runs Irish traditional music every Friday night, with fortnightly trad sessions bringing fiddles, flutes and bodhrans. Real musicians, proper trad - the kind of space where music is the entire reason you're there. Not backdrop. Not ambiance. Just the playing.

Regulars sit alongside people finding it for the first time. The bar becomes the session. It works because the musicians take it seriously and everyone respects that. A few hours pass without you noticing. That's how you know it's real.
