Captain Cutty's Pub Quiz

Wednesday nights at the Cutty Sark are for quiz teams. You'll need a booking and a crew of four or five, though it doesn't matter if half of you are useless at geography, that's half the fun. There's a cash prize and wine, so it's competitive enough to matter.

It builds its own crowd. Same faces, same table, the jokes that only land after you've shown up several weeks running. Good if you want the social side of pub quizzing rather than a one-off novelty.
