Jam Session

The Hogarth does jam sessions on alternating Fridays. It's the opposite of a show - no setlist, no pressure, just musicians working out what plays together. You might play if you brought an instrument, or just watch it happen from the corner. Either way, you're in a room where people are reacting to each other in real time, trying things, sometimes landing something unexpected.

This is real London music, the kind that only works when no one's performing for an audience. Low-key, open, unpretentious. Every night is different - you don't know what combo of players will show up or what they'll find together.
