Steak Night at The Prince of Wales

Wednesday steak dinner in East Barnet has appeal if you're doing it properly. Prince of Wales runs it as a straightforward thing: well-cooked meat, decent wine, economics work if you're going with someone. Order two steaks, get a bottle on the house. Three sauces come with it.

That's the offer. No pretension, no menu gymnastics. Midweek you get space and attention. It's the place that knows what it does and does it without fuss.

Good night out if steak and wine and conversation is what you're after.
