About
First Wednesday of the month, Southbank Vinyl hosts a listening event at The Roebuck centred on records. The idea is straightforward: vinyl given proper attention, records chosen because they're worth hearing completely. For anyone who listens to records from beginning to end, this is what the night offers.
It sits in your monthly rhythm easily. The 7:30pm Wednesday start is evening proper - late enough to be intentional, early enough not to swallow your night. Monthly touchstones like this used to be standard. Now they're rare enough to be worth planning a calendar around.
