The Royal Quiz

Pub quizzes are a London fixture, and this format works: teams up to six, cheap entry, cash for winners. Low stakes enough for a casual group night, enough on the line to make people actually think.

Weeknight thing, mostly. Good when you want something to do besides drink, or when your mates fancy testing themselves. There's competitive edge but no ego; you find out who's the trivia ringer in your group.

Come as a team or show up solo and join one. It's one of those London nights you remember for the people, not just the answers.
