About
Afropop with the genre lines blurred. LAMAYA pairs soulful vocals with fractured electronics and Afro-futurist textures, and she is a trained dancer, so the live set carries movement as much as sound. At £15, with sold-out headlines in Edinburgh and Glasgow behind her, it's a fair bet for something that sounds like no one else.
