Live Music: Live Bands

Saturday nights at The Star revolve around live music. You'll see bands ranging from trios to five-piece setups, starting at 9pm. The group size makes the difference; smaller ensembles have a different presence than larger ones.

Neighbourhood musicians who play regular Saturday slots understand pubs. They're not aiming for perfection or flash. Just people who can play their instruments and read a crowd. That's what you get: musicians who know what they're doing.

It's straightforward. You know when it happens, what kind of night it is, and whether that suits you. Saturday nights here don't require explanation.
