About
Wednesday nights at The Black Eel mean open mic comedy - performers of all levels taking the stage. First-timers working out their timing, experienced comics trying new material, people still figuring out what works. No headliners, no big room pressure.
Doors at 6:30pm on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month, free entry. The appeal is straightforward: live comedy unfiltered. You'll see genuinely good writers alongside people still finding their feet. If you like discovering new comics or workshopping material yourself, this works - supportive room, low stakes.
