Sunday Live Irish Trad Session

Irish trad works best as community, not performance. The Woodbine does this on Sunday evenings. Musicians turn up with fiddles, pipes, bodhrán. No setlist, no stage. Someone starts a tune, others join in, and the session finds its shape.

You can sit and listen if it's your first time. You can jump in if you know the tunes. The crowd is a mix of regulars and people who wandered in. The energy builds as the night goes on.

There's a rhythm to Irish trad that makes it feel familiar and strange at once. You'll hear patterns repeat. You'll also hear where someone takes it somewhere unexpected.
