The Little Woman In My Head Must Die
Upstairs at the Gatehouse
A woman in her thirties never quite shed an imaginary friend from childhood. It's still there, still unwelcome, still refusing to leave quietly. When she finally confronts it, there's a deal on the table: the friend will go, but only if she agrees to go back and remember why it was there in the first place. That's your premise for an absurdist comedy, the kind that thrives on weird theatrical logic and apparently some glitter.
It's character-driven, which means the show lives or dies on whether you're actually engaged with this one person's internal negotiation. Sixty minutes of that. If you like fringe comedy that's genuinely odd without trying too hard, this delivers.
