Live Singer + DJ

Whelan's Friday nights are built as a two-act model: live singer to start, DJ when it gets later. If you want both live music and dancing in one night, the format's designed for it.

Kingston's quieter than central London on Friday, and venues here usually know their audience better. A place that delivers both live music and a dancefloor isn't as common as you'd think. You get real variety in one go, not a half-hearted split between what you want. It works because the night moves with you.
