Brix sits in SE1 and works as a food venue that also hosts parties. That mix is the point. You might come for a meal and stay for the music, or come for a night out and end up at the table longer than planned. The programming leans towards club nights, the kind with a proper dance floor and a crowd that came to move. Big occasion nights tend to draw the biggest crowds, so the room fills with people who want a bit of ceremony in their evening. If you like your nights out to have a clear shape, this is a good place to start. Eat first, then dance. Check the kind of night before you go, because a busy party and a quieter evening can feel like two different venues.
