Davy's Wine Vaults in Greenwich is a place to settle in for a drink and a proper night out, with no fuss. The programming leans social and seasonal. There are regular jazz nights, where the music is the reason to come and a drink is waiting when you arrive. There are themed parties that play with the time of year. And there are wine-led evenings for people who like to talk about what's in the glass. Expect a mixed crowd: locals who come back often, and first-timers who heard about it from someone who knows. Dress for the room, not for a red carpet. The easiest way to pick a night is to ask what kind of evening you want.
