Grand Junction is housed in St Mary Magdalene's Church in W2 and programmes experimental music, live performance, and collaborative work. The programming genuinely mixes serious contemporary pieces with more playful and participatory events, shifting from season to season. You'll find experimental musicians, visual artists, and artist collectives making work for engaged but small audiences. One season brings a ceilidh, the next an experimental harp collaboration. Nothing here feels precious or gatekept. The space draws people genuinely hungry for art that actually takes risks and isn't afraid to be social about it. If that sounds like your kind of thing, it's worth keeping an eye on.
