Hagen & Hyde: Pub in Balham, London

Hagen & Hyde is a food venue in SW12, and the food comes first. Most nights are built around a table, with the entertainment running alongside the meal. The programming leans towards comedy, live music and DJs, with pub quizzes in the same mix. That makes it a good pick if you want a night out that isn't a gig or a club. Comedy suits a table of friends who like to laugh. Live music and DJs work for a looser dance or a band you've been meaning to hear. The quiz is the easy choice for a group that likes a bit of competition over drinks. Expect a crowd that eats, drinks and stays for the show.
