The Devonshire: Pub in Balham, London

The Devonshire is a neighbourhood room for people who like a regular night out. Its programming leans towards the weekly fixture, the kind of night you can plan around. The Mighty Weekly Quiz sets the tone: teams, rounds, a bit of friendly rivalry, and people who know each other by their second visit. It suits anyone who likes a pub with a bit of routine. Come with a team, or come on your own and find one by the end of the first round. Quiz nights reward people who know their categories and arrive early enough to get a seat. It sits in SW12 9AN, so the crowd tends to be local. That is part of the appeal.
