Rivoli Ballroom is a room built for dancing, and its programme shows it. In SE4, it leans towards nights you dress up for and move through. Expect disco, retro sets, and themed club nights where the costume is half the point. The crowd tends to enjoy a bit of theatre. Some come for the music they grew up with. Others come because a themed night gives them an excuse to wear something ridiculous. Either way, the floor is the focus. Choose by mood. If you want a loud, sweaty night with a costume, look for the themed nights. If you want records you half remember, look for the jukebox and disco sessions. Go with a group if you can. Ballrooms feel best when the floor fills up.
