Ronchini

Mayfair

Ronchini is an art venue in W1S, and it's the kind of place you go to look properly. The programme leans towards painting and abstraction, the sort of work that asks for a slow look rather than a quick photo. Shows here seem to be built around individual artists, so you get a clear sense of one practice at a time. That suits people who like to spend an hour with a single room. It's less about crowds and more about the quiet of looking at something carefully. If you're new to abstract painting, this is a good place to find out what you respond to. Go with an open mind and let the work do the talking.
