Scala

Camden

Scala is an N1 venue that builds its nights around a theme, so the room becomes part of the show. Expect costumes, props and crowds who have clearly made an effort. If you like going out with a plan, this suits you. The programming leans toward themed club nights and dressed-up parties, often with a dark or playful edge. Some nights ask you to commit to a look. Others simply reward you for trying. The crowd is a big part of the draw. People come for the performance as much as the music, and the best nights feel like a shared joke everyone is in on. Wear something that fits the spirit of the night, arrive ready to join in, and let the theme do the work.
