The BBE Store

Hackney

1 upcoming event

The BBE Store is a food venue in E8, and it opens its doors to outside nights. Its programming leans towards takeovers, where a promoter or club night brings its own sound, crowd and rules for an evening. The venue sets the stage. The host sets the feel. That makes the host your best guide. Look at who is running the takeover before you book. Check whether their crowd is clubbers, listeners or a mix. Those names will tell you more than the building does. Expect the room to change from one night to the next. Some takeovers feel like a dance night. Others feel smaller and more focused. Know the sound and the people, and the rest tends to fall into place.
