The Duke E17

Waltham Forest

1 upcoming event

The Duke is a food venue in E17, and the programme reflects that. Events are built around the kitchen and the room, so dinner tends to come first. Sessions are the thing to look for here. They're the kind of night where the music leads but the food keeps people at their tables, with conversation running alongside the set. Expect a local crowd that came for the evening rather than a checklist. Groups settle in, stay for a drink, and talk to the people beside them. Think about what you want before you pick a night. If you like music you can hear properly over a good meal, this is a sensible place to start. If you want a big room and a loud crowd, look elsewhere in town.
