Wood Street Library

Wood Street Library in E17 is a library first. Books come first, and around them runs a steady programme for families, especially parents with babies and toddlers. Expect stay and play sessions, stories and rhymes, and Lego club for older children. Some sessions are aimed at parents of very young babies, including infant feeding drop-ins and support appointments. It suits families who want a local place to take little ones regularly. It also suits anyone who likes a library that does more than lend books. Many of the people who come are new parents, or new to the neighbourhood, looking for others in the same stage of life.
