The Jago is a food venue in E8, and it leans into theme. Its nights tend to be built around an idea rather than a headline act. Some are for a cause. Fundraisers turn up here, so the room often has a community feel alongside the food. The themed programme usually runs playful and a bit dark. If you like an evening with a costume-party edge, you'll settle in quickly. If you want quiet, know that the mood can be loud and theatrical. It suits groups who like to eat together and then do something a bit different. It also suits people who go out for a reason, not just for the plate. The list below shows what's coming up. The character of the place stays the same from one night to the next.
