The Leyton Star: Pub in Waltham Forest, London

The Leyton Star is the kind of venue where the night can go in more than one direction. Live music sits alongside games nights and TV watch-alongs, and the programming leans towards things you can join in with, not just sit and watch. That makes it a good pick for a relaxed night out in E15. The crowd tends to come for a bit of fun, whether that's a live set, a bingo card or a room full of people reacting to the telly together. It's worth going in without a fixed idea of what you want. Pick the night that suits your mood. A band if you want to lose yourself in a set. A game if you'd rather spend the evening laughing with your mates.
