Walthamstow Family Hub is built around the early years. Most of the programme is for babies, toddlers and the grown-ups who look after them. You will find childminder drop-ins, baby massage, music and movement, and infant feeding groups, the kind of sessions that help new parents find their feet. The feel is practical and friendly. People come for the company as much as the activity. Parents compare notes, childminders pick up ideas, and nobody is expected to know everything before they walk in. Choose a session for where your child is now, not where you think they should be. Some groups suit a newborn, others suit a toddler who wants to be on the move.
