Watson's General Telegraph is an art venue in SE22, and its programming leans social. Expect live jazz, quiz nights, and evenings built around talking and listening together. Choose by the mood you want. For a proper listen, the music nights are the place to start. For a looser evening with friends, a quiz or a relaxed night out will suit better. Either way, the room works best when you go in for the company as much as the programme. Art sits at the core of what the venue is for, so it also makes room for work to be shown and talked about. The listings below show what is coming up. The character of the place stays the same from one season to the next.
