Battersea Arts Centre programs experimental theatre and family shows as equally serious parts of its calendar. You might encounter unvarnished performance work one week, then shows designed for kids and adults together the next. The venue doesn't treat those as separate audiences or problems to solve at different times. Located in Battersea, south of the river, it draws a particular London crowd: theatre people looking for something real and parents after programming that carries weight. The mix means you pick it as much for the breadth as for any specific show. You don't arrive expecting the same thing twice.
