Champion Hill is Dulwich Hamlet's ground in south London residential territory. Small-scale, unpretentious. Standing terraces, close sight lines, the kind of football match where you can actually see what's happening. The crowd is mostly locals who've been coming for years, families mixed in. Nothing's choreographed. The atmosphere comes from people who actually care about the result. Pre-season or league, the ethos stays the same. Occasional bigger clubs pass through for warm-ups, but it's Hamlet's home. You get football where the noise reaches you and the crowd feels genuinely real.
