EartH Theatre in N16 is a room that changes shape from night to night. One evening it's a film screening with a live score. Another it's a singer-songwriter, a classical concert, or a ritual walk that starts after dark. The thread running through it is attention. The programming favours work that asks you to sit still and listen. That makes it a good pick if you like being surprised. You'll often find yourself in a room of people who came for one artist and stayed for the whole bill. The format changes as much as the genre, so it's worth knowing what kind of night you're booking before you go. If you want a big arena feeling, look elsewhere.
