Fairkytes Arts Centre is the kind of place where you actually make things, not just watch. They run hands-on art workshops, mostly practical tuition in drawing, painting, and other skills you can use properly afterwards. The idea is simple: you turn up, get shown how to do something well, and leave with real work you've made yourself. No lectures, no distance between you and the instruction. Just you, someone who knows what they're doing, and a pencil or brush or whatever medium. The people going are there to learn and make something real. No pretension or gatekeeping. In RM14 2AJ.
